Michael Franscell

Michael was born and raised in South Pasadena, California. He attended Whittier College in Whittier California. He began his career in the fire service in 1993 with the City of Pasadena (Texas) Fire Dept. and also volunteered with The Boerne Fire Department. He joined the Alamo Heights Fire Dept. in April of 2001. Michael holds the following certifications: • Advanced Fire Fighter • EMT Basic • Fire Apparatus Operator (FAO) • Fire Instructor Intermediate • HAZ Mat Technician – Texas A&M • Department of Homeland Security- WMD Technician for Explosives, Radiological and Chemical response to terrorism Mike plans to further his career in the Alamo Heights Fire Department by pursuing a degree in an applicable field.
